BATTERY WARRANTY & RETURNS

Better Battery Tyres stands behind every battery we sell. 
Our pro-rata warranty policy is one of the fairest in South Africa.

WARRANTY PERIODS:
- Osaka batteries — 6 months
- Exide Eco batteries — 12 months
- Willard batteries — 24 months (coming soon)
- Sabat batteries — 24 months (coming soon)

HOW OUR PRO-RATA POLICY WORKS:
If your battery fails within the warranty period, we calculate 
a fair refund based on actual usage time.

Formula: Refund = Purchase price × (Months remaining ÷ Total warranty months)

Example: Battery purchased at R1,150 with 12-month warranty 
fails at month 8. Months remaining = 4. 
Refund = R1,150 × (4÷12) = R383 cash back or store credit.

You choose: cash refund or store credit toward your next purchase.

HOW TO CLAIM:
1. WhatsApp us on 063 500 1740 with your order number and 
   a description of the fault
2. Bring the battery to 140 Modderfontein Rd, Tembisa 
   for assessment
3. We assess within 24 hours and process your refund or 
   replacement immediately

EXCLUSIONS:
- Physical damage, incorrect fitment, or water damage
- Batteries that have been modified or opened
- Failure to maintain correct electrolyte levels (non-sealed batteries)

TYRES:
No returns once fitted. Defective tyres with manufacturing 
faults assessed case by case — bring to store with proof of purchase.

ACCESSORIES:
Unopened, unused items returned within 7 days in original packaging 
for full refund. No returns on electrical items once opened 
(dash cameras, OBD2 scanners, LED globes) unless manufacturing defect.

COMBOS:
Rim and tyre combos are custom-fitted orders. No returns once fitted. 
Manufacturing defects on rims assessed within 30 days of purchase.
